Where to Find the Apple Tree
In the early demo, take the small forest trail and choose the downward branch across the bridge to reach the apple tree. Bring your horse to a complete stop beside it before trying the apple-picking interaction.
Follow the Trail and Collect the Apples
- Choose the small forest trail to begin the route toward the apple tree.
- Take the downward branch across the bridge; this path leads to the tree.
- Stop your horse completely beside the apple tree so you can attempt to collect the apples.
- Use the apple-picking interaction while your horse is stationary to collect the apples.
What to Try if the Apples Keep Flashing
Check that your horse has come to a complete stop before trying the interaction again. Flashing apples and a flashing input prompt have been reported even when the pickup would not proceed. The same problem also occurred while the horse was fully stationary.
If you are already stopped and the interaction still fails, try collecting the apples during a later trail ride on another in-game day. That resolved the problem for the player who reported it. Treat this as a workaround to try, without assuming it will fix every failed pickup.
Using the Guide With Your Game Version
The route and flashing-apples workaround above describe the early demo, before the October update. Keep the February demo separate from the October demo when following older trail advice: the October demo introduced new trail environments.
